Firessak, a leading brand of fire suppression blankets under Large Co., Ltd., is participating in the 2024 International Fire Safety Expo, the largest of its kind, held at Daegu EXCO. The event, co-hosted by the National Fire Agency and Daegu Metropolitan City from May 22-24, is the only fire safety expo in Korea, featuring various equipment, technologies, business consultations, and seminars.
Firessak’s fire suppression blankets have received the Disaster Safety Certification from the Ministry of Public Safety and the Innovation Product Certification from the Public Procurement Service, making it the only brand in Korea to hold these distinctions.
Launched in 2019 in response to requests from fire departments, Firessak successfully localized the development of fire suppression blankets previously imported from overseas. Building on its expertise in insulation and soundproofing component manufacturing, Firessak completed a disaster safety product development project in 2020-2021 and received its certifications in June and July 2023.
Firessak's representative highlighted the key differences in their product, emphasizing the use of high-heat-resistant silica fabric (up to 1,400°C) and stainless steel thread, ensuring durability and preventing seam separation during fire suppression. Unlike competitors who import low-cost fabrics, Firessak oversees the entire production process in-house, from weaving and coating to stitching and inspection.
CEO Park stated that the expo provides an excellent opportunity for fire safety buyers, construction companies, and government agencies to see Firessak’s superior fire suppression blankets. He stressed the importance of quality and performance in safety products and the need for state-certified blankets.
Park also expressed the company's commitment to expanding its market presence and brand recognition, aiming to become a leading name in fire safety products through proactive sales and product diversification at the expo.
